Police have launched a manhunt for a suspect in a bank robbery at the American Savings Bank’s Kealakekua branch in Kona.
Police say that about 3 p.m. Tuesday, the suspect robbed the bank and fled on foot.
He’s described as a local male, barefoot, in his late 30s with short hair, wearing blue floral-print shots, a and a dark-blue T-shirt with a modified triangular white emblem in front.
The man was last seen walking toward the Kealakekua McDonald’s.
